I have come ALONG way.. since that first clip you guys just saw.. and man was I filled with friends and relationships.. but I was somehow still the loneliest person in the room.. and it’s such a twist to admit this.. but I think.. it didn’t matter if I had 20 friends or 100 friends at that time.. cuz I needed to be my OWN friend first.. I hated myself when I was alone. I hated myself with my thoughts in silence. And I always wanted an escape out of myself.. it’s so weird.. I’m not sure if it was out of pure self hatred, hatred for my external circumstances, or just looking to fill a void in my heart.. but nothing was enough for me in the external environment.. But fast forward to 3 year later.. now.. I can’t lie I still STRUGGLE with being alone and wanting friends to fill my cup.. but the difference is now.. I’m aware of this and myself.. so I’m working to be comfortable with just myself.. yes I may still call up every single one of my best mates when I’m home alone.. but slowly I’m looking to also BE OKAY when I’m just enjoying time by myself.. hehe and I will say doing self care does make the time go by easier too💕💕 So I guess the moral is.. your validation is within yourself.. don’t lose yourself looking for it from a world that will never be enough 💝
