@tastesoftheunion: SOST DC: your next third space! Sost DC is where the Black and African diaspora thrive through music, food, and community. It’s a hybrid-cafe, vinyl room, and resto-lounge. Walking in I immediately felt so welcomed and the space was stunning. They’re currently participating in restaurant week for brunch, lunch, and dinner, so I was able to try a dishes from those menus! I really loved everything I tried but two of my favorites were the akarra fritters and spiced lamb meatballs.
