Coffee dates are a great way to get to know someone. You are kind of sort of forced to actually talk and carry a dope conversation. There is no frills, no wow factor to detract from figuring out if yall actually like eachother.

So we know it’s low effort lol and you’re saying you are returning low effort so that makes sense. But a coffee date accompanied with walking around to different shops getting ice cream etc… that makes a little more sense. I’d accept a coffee meet up.. but if we want to see each other again… it’s gota be more effort (even if it was me, I’d put more work into it)

Facts. Low effort and no effort aren't the same thing. I took my now-wife to a historic used book store on our 2nd date. We spent hours looking thru books and sheet music. By that point, we were hungry, so we walked to a nearby burger spot, then we went to a nearby greenway to stroll & talk. Low effort starting points for the win.
