At the start of career I worked 7am to 7pm and people barely noticed. What they did notice were the mistakes I made/or tasks I didn’t get too. Never again. If the work is higher than your capacity that’s a them problem not a you problem.

As someone that gets paid by the hour. Overtime is nice and can be scheduled to not burn you out. I have done a lot of 60 hour weeks but I get paid for those hours. For someone that is salaried, they get paid for 40 hours and for the most part are not paid for overtime.
