There is a beach/island in Myanmar with a lot of sea snakes. We have the indian ocean so the water temperatures are not that cold for sea kraits. I have seen them under rocks piled up and they don't come out. They don't harm people unless feel provoked and they are norturnal so most villagers even think they are non-venomous.
