That’s so funny, I’m from Melbourne but I ask everyone what school they went to 😂 but you’re right, now I think about it nobody else really asks haha. I just feel like there could be mutuals and it’s something to talk about even if there aren’t mutuals! I went to public school, so it’s nothing to do with that.

I think it depends where you live in Melbourne, I’ve never been asked in the north/west. When I lived in the east I was asked ALL the time.

ime it comes up when you find out someone grew up locally. between my partner, myself and my kids we went to 3 primary schools and 4 highschools so there's a good chance there's an overlap.
