Why would you ask if it’s okay to make a call 😂😂. You’re literally paying them to take you somewhere, that’s it. What you do on the way is your choice, you don’t need to ask! You don’t check with the bus driver if it’s ok to talk on the phone when you’re going somewhere! 😂😂

I think you can at the very least partake in a polite “hello how are you and a thank you” / thats all you need, and if you have a bit of extra chat in between it can be fun and fascinating bonus
