They key to avoiding a counter is playing into the counter with something big you don't mind loosing, put pressure on the blue player to use up resources each one you draw out is a victory and save the best spell for the last cast when you are mostly positive they cannot counter you further, all the better if your in a multiman game right after the blue player. You should mess with them the MOST as they will have to weigh every counter more heavily then the person right before their turn.

those cards are terrible and limited or constructed, so we're assuming this is an EDH game, the other two people in the pod should be shin kicking the control player. It's impossible to play control really functionally without some sort of politics at a table of four.
