The real goal is not to retire early because you will get bored and research shows you don’t live as long. The real goal is to find a career you don’t want to retire from. I’m blessed, it happened for me. Why would I retire? Get to spend plenty of time with family and traveling.

"Little bit of sacrifice" most people can't even afford basic college out of highschool. I know people who literally gave up all of their free time out of school to work a job at age 14 and still can't even afford to live independently once they reach 18 or even 21.

I retired early. Found it beyond boring and went back to my career. I had already traveled extensively, have the home, cars and everything paid for. Retirement is definitely not for everyone.

This man posting this is a rare breed. He seems young but knows everything about everyone already. Retiring before you reach full retirement age for your social benefits, which is certainly over 60, will cut your benefit. We pay into social security so most people would want their full benefit. This applies to retirement plans from your employer as well.
