I've never watched the show, I did read the book like over 10 years ago now. but I do feel that there were friends of friends mentioned and stories about them. also the first half of the book was good, the last half was mostly about Carrie and I found it boring, and that's how I justify never wanting to watch the show lol.

Charlotte definitely had another friend group who enjoyed same things as her, brunch at the club, paying tennis, going to church… Miranda had a hell of a friend group with open minded people like her!!

My theory is that’s not Charlotte’s chosen friend group, she hung out with them because the group she really wanted to fit into never felt right, and they thought marrying Trey would take her into the Upper Echelon of New York Society, she only hung out with them to judge them, and they made her feel better about herself
