I have a 1994 s10 blazer and the 4L60 transmission lost first and overdrive… so I drove manually shifting for about 2 weeks and the thing has fixed itself all the sudden and is working like it show!!😱🧐😬

Know it’s off subject but have a service trailer brake on 2013 duramax and it want allow my trailer brakes to work . I’ve changed so many parts relays sensors check grounds and changed plugs . Any ideas I’ve also paid two dealers to fix it with no luck two other independent shops and I’ve tried myself twice . Any ideas ? Thinking I may need just add an old school brake control set up .

block 4th. aluminum pinned in fwd. never seen fwds burnt up from a leak with an aluminum or cracked plastic tbh. 1-2 is the only one id use pinless but I still dont lol just gets new aluminum

2004 Chevy 1500 4.8l 4l60e 160k. it has a hard shift when cold and sometimes when warm from 1st to 2nd gear only. has shifted like this since I got out from my grandad in 2015. I have taken it to multiple transmission shops to have it repaired. both have told me to just drive it until it stops working and the replace it. replacement cost was quoted $4200, $4500, and $5100. does this sound right?
