I have to make sure my finances are straight first. If I can use the library, libby, thrift store, KU, then I will. HOWEVER, I have a strong desire to support authors. I can interact with their social media content and/or share their social media content. When appropriate, I can recommend their books on reddit, tiktok, in person. Or I tell my husband to buy me a physical copy for my birthday.

The books I want to buy are never ever ever. At thrift or used book stores. Or at target… so I’m a trophy hunter after library and buy on amazon or barns.

I do used for books older than 3 years and hunt for pretty editions and the new from barnes and small independent bookstores and preorder sometimes.

i downsized my living situation several years ago, and realized just how much stuff i had collected, lol. now, i have a kindle colorsoft, and also have a library card (digital borrowing), and i use libby. so much fun! already read over 65 books, and have not added any actual physical books!
