Everything is wrong, the wood should not be in contact with the concrete, forgot the joint foam, the window is too far out

In Scandinavia this would be illegal and we know a thing or two about windows and bad weather.

2500$ is what someone quoted me to do this. I think I'll do it myself. Makes a lot of sense to me and I'm pretty sure I can pull it off.
