everyone seems to lean towards the fact that rebecca is not as guilty as jake is anf that she’s a victim. while I totally acknowledge she might be a victim, she definitely had a huge part in this. even a mother under duress would show more emotion regarding her missing child

I find it telling that he tried to pin child cruelty on Vanessa, yet the drama never seems to leave his side. That’s not coincidence—it’s a pattern. He has a long history of abuse, and now karma has finally caught up with him. Hopefully this time justice is served, and he goes away for life. Let’s just hope his bargain-bin Temu lawyer doesn’t try to shift the blame onto Rebecca. While she’s not blameless, there are undeniable signs that she has also been a victim of his abuse.
