@itsninaorm: 👔 Ever heard of the Boulé? Founded in 1904, it’s the first Black Greek-letter fraternity — but unlike the Divine Nine, this one was built exclusively for society’s elite: doctors, lawyers, executives, and politicians. For over a century, it’s been a network of power, influence, and legacy — some call it the Black elite’s secret society. 🤫 But here’s the question: does the Boulé open doors for the community… or just preserve them for a select few? 📩 Subscribe to Creativity Meets Capital for weekly deep dives on how Black wealth, culture, and power intersect — link in bio. #BlackHistory #BlackWealth #CulturalCapital #CreativityMeetsCapital #BlackExcellence #BlackTikTok #blacktok #legacy #History #historytok #blackhistorytiktok #wealthtok #USHistory #fyp #foryoupage

It should remain exclusive that way it maintains the intergrity of the org. Everyone should not be able to become Boule or The Links . There’s a vetting process.

All respect given. However the Boules were staunch colorists and aligned themselves with white supremacist ideologies. It’s hard to uplift them without discussing that as well.

You can’t dismantle something you don’t understand. They move in secret for that exact reason. It’s invitation only for a reason and very powerful. Most of these men also belong to the Guardsmen…and they have enough money then you can wrap your mind around. Great men in all aspects of life has been my experience with them.

In a world where yts destroyed black wealth due to envy, it is key to have private Black wealth that funnels money into our communities, politics etc that the yts don’t know about. These men run companies and they need to continue to do that in order to help us. Based on the reaction to the RL Oaks Bluffs campaign, I would remain quiet.

If the Boule or whomever is NOT actually helping move the Black community ESPECIALLY during this regime I could care less. We are having rights stripped left and right and there is no Black power on front street as a collective

The Black Elite does not equal Black people who are rich/wealthy or famous celebs/ entertainers so it definitely would not start to become inclusive by just including everyone. Also thought it was interesting how MLK was mentioned here but technically, (historically speaking) MLK marrying Coretta Scott is actually what put him in place to do what he ended up doing and becoming known as a member of the Black Elite today. She came from a “well to do” family which held a lot of weight in regard to how he was able to move.
