I agree. Democrats taking the high road while Republicans go low has led up to this point. We could have added seats to the Supreme Court but instead let everything get undermined.

This is the one thing that makes me feel better. Should we be gerrymandering at all? Should we trust newsome at all? Probably not to either of those. Helps to remember, we go low but make sure we dont stay there. This bill ends the gerrymandering after the 2030 census. Built in safety check is how im taking it as.

On top of that, technically California could Gerrymander to take 9 seats, but they're are only conter balancing Texas, by doing 5 to match them, in my veiw that is still the high ground.

He's asking the population they are voting on it, he signed it as a temporary measure and will reestablish the council after it ends. This isnt against the rules and that's the point. Democrats need to play by the rules and exploit the loopholes the same as more than the Republicans do.

This entire situation goes against democracy. In 2010, CA voted to have a special committee draw the congressional maps. Gavin is ignoring what we voted for. Just like CA overturned prop 36 that the people voted for in Nov. If you keep supporting this behavior, democracy is dead.
