@izzy.rodriguess: Somebody help me! Can this baby bunny be on its own yet? If not anyone know what to feed it? I’ve heard people use kitten milk replacer before to feed them. #bunny #babybunny
Maybe try some kitten milk from Wal-Mart with a small kitten bottle

No not yet. He is just too tiny. Get a large kennel and put alfalfa and water for him for a few weeks.

Unfortunately baby cottontails are extremely difficult to keep alive. Their GI tract is so delicate and their bodies do not respond well to being handled

If the white spot on his head is gone or almost gone, he’s ready. But if it’s still there he needs his mom!

He should be big enough to be on his own. Most mother rabbits will actually leave the nest and let the babies fend for themselves after a certain age; so if you find a stray one, it is typically because the mama has left already.
