I have 2 biracial kids, and white moms need to hear this: the world sees our babies as Black. Raise them proud, teach both sides of their culture, and make sure they have strong Black men & women in their lives who will understand them because there will be things that they encounter that you will never. Yes, it’s okay to love their brown eyes & caramel skin—but some women have mixed kids just for that. Don’t fetishize. Teach pride, not preference. ✨
