My bf recommended a book to me (“since you like to read a lot, you should try my favorite one”) that he said his grandmother gave him in the fifth grade. It’s a fifth grade reading level. Beautiful story. Read it in two hours. He was so hurt that he’s never recommended another one. Said it took him two weeks to read it 😂
