yuji’s whole goal as a person from the start is to bring curses and people to a proper end. along with this yuji has a lot of buddha imagery during that stroll and even before that. it’s almost like he’s a death guide(this was even shown when he was talking to megumi with him saying he can’t force megumi to live)

I don't believe that was Yuji's domain. To be specific, Yuji probably casted an incomplete domain, since he used the flying debris as the way to close it off, and we just saw the sure hit effect of it. The rest was just his innate domain
