my mom also chose to do the lumpectomy and they didn't get all the margins so she had to go back 10 days later and they got the rest. She's also glad she decided to that instead of a mastectomy

Same cancer as you and I was lopsided after surgery . First plastic surgeon I met with said back flap and I said no. Second said implants and for me that was the best choice

Omg what is with doctors saying this 😭😭😭 I had cervical cancer, diagnosed two years ago. I had a radical trachelectomy and was told “most woman go back to work after 2 weeks” I was out for 12!! And still wasn’t ready at that point to go back. I would loooove to meet these woman who went back after 2 weeks. I thought something was wrong with me bcuz I wasn’t bouncing back 😭

What job are they going back to? lol I absolutely cannot imagine!! I had JUST had to have a d&c and it took me a few days to a week. Maybe he just told you that to make it seem less daunting? Let's hope.

My mom went back to work the next day after a lumpectomy and worked through her radiation treatments. Silent generation was tough and believed you should suck it up and suffer silently. I think differently and believe you should listen to your body and take the time you need.

I had lumpectomy and lymph nodes removed in 2004. Yeah one breast is bigger.

I had breast reduction.Have never seen so many stitches.Think I took a few weeks off.
