yup... that's why I will only go to Sutter Health. even when something small happened (i thought it was small, it wasnt really), it was MRI and CT the next week and specialist calling me in a couple days with a plan.

They are the worst!! The doctors are very rude they canceled the appointment at the last minute. They are not about patient CARE first at all.

Merced, CA is like this too! Especially Golden Valley!!! My mother is a senior and they keep canceling her appointments. Within 5 years of living in Merced, CA long wait for appointments, lots of cancelled appointments, long wait calls. This past year she was only able to get one appointment for 5 minutes after waiting 3 hours for her appointment. Thank you for calling them out!

Call your insurance to see who is in network other than GVHC and switch. That’s what I did.

I HATEEE gvhc, when I was pregnant with my daughter I KEPT telling them my bp was high asf and my feet were swollen asf they kept disregarding me until I was 36 weeks and I went in and they seen it for themselves, they had no choice but to induce me due to preeclampsia. I kid you not, I kept telling them I thought I had it since the end of my 2nd trimester .. never again.

Castle is the same they won’t even let you see your blood work until you see a doctor it’s blocked. Takes 2-3 months to see a doctor always making you switch also your primary doctor for a closer date and always accuse you of lying that’s why I ended up in a private clinic I pay monthly to much bs

Golden valley is the worst on this planet!!! They over book patients because they are medical and they don’t care! They care only about the money and because they take advantage !!! That health place is a joke ! By the time they refill patients medications it’s crazy!!! They take LONG!

I was supposed to have an emergency surgery because I broke both bones in my leg. It took over a month of trying to get scheduled with Golden Valley health Center. By the time I had my surgery, they had to re-break parts of me.

I'm currently dealing with something similar at GVHC. I've had an ongoing medical issue since December and have yet to be treated for it. Now I'm experiencing bigger issues because of it!

I had surgery to remove hydrosalpinx fallopian tubes (toxic waste filled). When I woke up in recovery they told me they only removed one. The other one would take too much time, to come back and reschedule. I switched to a different provider. That new Dr was shook.

But in all reality, our medical system is to help dying people be comfortable, not to help healthy people live. The medical field is a “Band aid” corporation. It’s genuinely heartbreaking.

Unfortunately our healthcare system is business first….minimal services provided….and volume above everything else. If you’re LUCKY enough to have a caring primary care provider, you’re the minority….and to add insult to injury, you’re paying a ton of money for sub-par services. It’s getting worse with no end in sight.

I have always had sutter since i was little, best ever, and now that I work for them, I get to see behind the scenes they really are about the people. they stay on top of everything order every test possible and get back asap to their patients.

I have a 2 of ferritin which should be double digits...plus other ones that should automatically give me iron infusions since no pills are working, it's the FOURTH f n Dr that I tried helping me, she told me go down the vitamin isle grab be some MORE iron pills even though my chart shows me taking the highest dose since 2020 smh I hate golden valley

WORST OFFICE EVER. They found a swollen node on my neck and told me I have cancer because of my age, they never tested me for anything, I went to another doctor and they were in disbelief that someone would say cancer without testing

Labs company’s example Quest Diagnostic or LabCorps will flag the abnormal test they get sent to Dr Office and especially if there very critical they will call. Those labs should be getting scanned to the medical chart everyday and basically tag the provider where the provider should be getting it flag and they sign off the results.

I used to work for GVHC as a Medical assistant, Got suspended and put on leave for a week without pay because I was trying to give the best care to my patients.. They are a JOKE. They are only about the money.
