For me personally Lucia being an S rank is a non-issue. She's rather cute, and she's a dedicated Rupture support, so if Manato was S-rank she would have been his signature support. Who IS an issue though? YIDHARI. She's a Rupture S-rank, so gameplay-wise there would have been no issue if she was an A rank and Manato S rank. But her design makes is SO PAINFULLY OBVIOUS why it's the other way around.

Reminder the last female A-Rank was in 1.6 and the last male rank was in 2.0. The last male rank was 1.7 and from there on it’s been all females. Komano fans have a right for being mad. You are right to be upset and all of your points are valid. Everyone knows the issue with not having enough S rank males and the particular reason why Komano ended up being S rank is upsetting. Anyone who tries to argue otherwise is doing it in bad faith to invalidate you. Sure A ranks are usable if you really want them to but an M6 A rank will NEVER perform better than an M0 S rank. Saying “oh they’re easier to M6 is just a nice way for them to spit in your face. There’s no point trying convince them otherwise
