My late husband only bought things that he could send to my job or that I could take to work so he could grill me when I got home… “What did everyone at work think about your new purse, flowers etc”…. It was all about how wonderful everyone thought he was…. If he sent me flowers I would give them to someone on my team…. I wanted nothing from him…

My birthday is next Monday and I’m absolutely dreading it. He’s ruined or done the bare minimum every year for 20 years. He’s got tons of decorations and goodies for the weekend but it’s for college football not my birthday. I bought mums at the store and he said “there’s your birthday flowers” and he bought me a drink mix I said I liked and said alright your birthday is covered. I just want the day over with.

so serious. nex knew I love Miranda Lambert. got me tickets for my birthday. concert started at like 8pm. we get there, get seated...then he tells me he has a paper for school due at midnight so we have to leave at 11 so he can do it. a paper that was assigned for at least a week....he forgot ive been in college too and kno how it works....but he couldn't manage to get it done to make time for the concert. so, I got to see the opening acts...and 1 1/2 songs actually performed by Miranda.

My ex decided to make up for 23 yrs of marriage and wrecking every single birthday by giving me a surprise party, invited 40 people over, told me about it the morning of. He then disappeared all day until just before party time. I had to cook for 40 people and get a cake. Plus prepare my house too. I was exhausted but he got kudos ?
