This is moveslop. Good movement is typically momentum based (Source games, good sonic games), has a unique idea (gravity rush), or has a bunch of freedom of movement with maps that force you to use abilities creatively (Mario Odyssey)

Looks sick but the animation to actual distance traveled is not that great lol. And gravity rush is still the best traversal ever.

make the air streams more noticeable proportional to how much distance you travel in each one. right now it looks like you simply attacked the air and moved 3 steps.
