@seaman_offshore: Hỏa Lò Prison, located in Hanoi, was built by the French in 1896 during the colonial period. It was originally used to detain Vietnamese patriots and revolutionaries who fought against French rule. Later, during the Vietnam War, it became known to American prisoners of war as the “Hanoi Hilton.” Today, part of the prison has been preserved as a historical site and museum, where visitors can learn about the struggles of Vietnamese revolutionaries and the resilience of the people during wartime.
