YES! Stalking is so subtle, it makes you think you’re crazy and no one believes you. I had a neighbor (older woman) who was a little too nice and always everywhere I was. One day she slipped up and mentioned my sorority (didnt wear letters or have it on my car) and mentioned how she saw me sitting on my bed (it was in an awkward position that you couldn’t quite see). I knew then.

I met a guy when I was 18. We “dated”. One night he casually told me how he used to watch me. He knew the color of my BR when I was in 8th grade. That night got really dark really quick. Glad you are ok.

The weird thing is he could have just asked you out? I’m assuming he must have got something out of stalking you that a normal relationship wouldn’t have provided, but that’s so weird to not even try normal first.

You never seeing him again makes me wonder WHERE did this man come from and when did he really start stalking you. He might have actually started stalking you from work and was never a student. He probably came in there once or twice noticed you and you didn’t notice him and he started following you after that. Or maybe he saw you somewhere else entirely. I had a similar situation with a coworker years ago.

A girl in college had a stalker who kept every single item she touched. We’re talking literally EVERYTHING she touched. If he could retrieve it he kept it. That was 20 yrs ago.

Yup, I was stalked in college by a grown man with a career. Changed my life. I don’t post anything about where I live. Not my bathroom, kitchen NOTHING. I don’t post pictures of anything I do in my city so my whole IG is me in other cities/countries. I deleted everyone off my socials because of it have about 80 followers and it’s just my friends and family.
