Go to Wakeeney, the Christmas City of the High Plains, the Saturday after Thanksgiving and they have the Christmas tree lighting! Santa is there and it is so amazing!! Love my hometown!

Fun fact: this tree in memorial of my grandma Mary Lee Springer. She owned a retail shop downtown Little Britches for over 30 years. Little britches is still open and located on Main Street owned by my aunt, Leigh Kepley.

We have a lot of events in that little park. Food truck Fridays, Art in the Park, Fall Fest, Mexican fiesta, Pep rally’s, endless parades. Never enough seating! 😂

there's a parade next Saturday the 13th @10am and a festival there in the park and I believe the high-school homecoming parade is Sunday

The Christmas parade in Garden City is at night and one of best. Make sure u take ur outdoor chairs to sit.

Actually they light up almost all the trees in that park at Christmas. Downtown is my favorite place at that time of year. Dont miss fall fest down there!
