I’ve always felt that way about it. Ever since I was a kid. We would go to the movies there or park there to go to aquarium and I always wondered how such expensive stores stayed open with so little customers.

It is not a hang out mall. It is a go to the store you need and leave mall. It’s my favorite. I even know where the special parking and secret elevator is.

I work there. You’re just not coming at the right times. During saints season, it’s packed after every game. During back to school season it’s packed. Closer to the holidays it’s packed.

We always stay at the Weston so we shop there. Last time we were there the line for Louis vuitton was so long and they were doing a “check in” at the door and it was an hour long wait for heat stamping but its still a better experience than the galleries in Houston.

The immigration court is in the same building lol, this is the only reason I used to go in there (I’m an immigration lawyer). I have been there many times and have also never seen anyone anywhere but the Peet’s coffee.

The Westin and the Offices at Canal Place basically pays for the mall to exist. The shops in there are just there for incidental sales and to provide loss numbers for those huge brands to write off.
