How do you know how long you have to have it on for? My son is 8, they want to do it to prepare for braces but we don't want to get cuz we think it will scare him too much at his age.

i had an expander before i got my braces and at the start it feels so weird and my lisp was so bad but trust me you get used to it after like a week but make sure you clean it properly or it can dig into your gums and get badly infected

I got my top bottom braces and expander on and I have to turn it 2 a day I don’t think it hurts maybe I have a high pain tolerance idk

I just commented on the first video but it will probably get lost. How old is your daughter? Mine is only 7 and the dentist recommended she get it but she hasn’t even lost a tooth yet and fights me over the littlest thing so I know something painful will be a battle! Im going to see if we can wait a little longer.
