@karliedoesdallas: How to spend the day is Waco, TX like HGTV stars, Chip & Joanna ✨ Waco, TX is an hour and a half away from Dallas and honestly has more to do than you may think. They now have a booming historic downtown area that is super walkable with so much to see. It’s on the Up! And part of that is because of the HGTV stars Chip & Joanna who became famous by flipping houses in Waco on reality TV. Not only have they made the town famous but they also created a complex called @magnolia market. 🤍 It’s a beautiful and walkable market and park that includes small shops, a pretty decent sized furniture store, a food truck park, a coffee shop, with an outdoor hangout area. You can definitely spend a couple leisurely hours here walking around. Next go to @opalsoysters 🦪 it’s 3 blocks away from the restaurant and is a seafood and raw bar. I saw somewhere that this was their favorite restaurant and our cannot tell me that cause now I wanna try it 😂 and it was really good! Waco IS on the UP! This restaurant was beautiful with the most extra Aperol Spritz I’ve ever seen with a tiny Möet Champagne bottle out of the top. I also really enjoyed the mussels and wedge salad.
