Oh yea…I remember😃 it’s to give them a well-rounded education that caters to their learning style, their pace of learning and interests. Providing them an active role in their education so that they will always have a love for learning! There’s nothing like the end of the school year (especially test-taking time🤣), that makes some of us homeschoolers wonder whether we did “enough” throughout the year. Kaiden is required to take his first standardized test and although we don’t have to turn it in to the DOE (per our state laws) , and I know these grades doesn’t define him, with him being autistic, my anxiety still got the best of me and I spiraled out of control for about a week. But here’s the thing, education is more than just good test grades. I look at how well rounded he is, how much progress he made in his own personal goals as well as educational. The way he loves and cares for his sister and is fiercely protective of her, his overall sweet nature and kind disposition, I know we have done an excellent job raising him. He is growing up to be a well-mannered and kind young man and I know that he will thrive in whatever he pursues in the future. This is why it’s so important to know your WHY for homeschooling and pray over your homeschool journey because unfortunately imposter syndrome will pop up inevitably. But when it comes to you with lies you can combat it by focusing on your why and the fact that God’s got your back! Know that you are more than qualified to teach your children. You are enough, you have access to different resources at your fingertips, your children will be more than fine. They will succeed because they have you in their corner. You got this mama! Don’t let that imposter system get the best of you, guard yourself with the truth that you can do all things in Christ that strengthens you! Besides the school year is almost over😅😉 . . #homeschoollife #homeschoolinspiration #motivational #homeschooladvice
