No nippers is WILD🤣 Get a nice hobby set with a knife file and nippers :) HG (high grade) and EG(entry grade, nippers optional) would be more fitting for beginners, and afterwards you can much more easily customize them :)

May I suggest HG (High Grade) Barbados as a starter. Not too many runners and a good starting base for seeing articulation.

A very brave first kit! Any of the high grade witch from Mercury kits are a great choice, not too difficult, with some great results and interesting mechanics

rx78 1.0 is a mistake to build, its joints and parts are kinda easily to fall off

my first gubdam was the rg rx 78 2.0 I thought every rg had you build the inner frame, I get a lil bummed when I see a pre built one now bcuz I loved building the inner frame and seeing the articulation and how it all worked
