I this instance, putting it down to stupidity is wrong. People deliberately lie, twist facts, divert and slander, just to make a point. Look at Sky News’s daily attacks on Farage. That’s not stupidity. They’ll just go to any means to portray him in a bad light. They only use unflattering images of him mid-blink or mid-speaking.
