After learning about Thomas Thistlewood the other day… I am more convinced than ever that there is a breeding of pure evil in white christian male colonialists. It’s upside down world. These people spread that they were the civilised ones while everyone they abused were the savages, while enacting horrors that would never be done to them by their victims even when freedom was sought by revolution. It’s INSANE. And these men died revered and having passed their ways on to new generations without any impedance. If trauma lives in our genes I have to conclude that the capacity/joy of inflicting trauma also does.
