Currently in this transition right now and it’s nothing short of hard. Use to drink and party pretty much all the way through my twenties, made a lot of friends along the way. Ended up realizing I was a functioning alcoholic and got sober which they all supported. But then something ‘shifted’ between me and all of them after that, and it was confusing, then I re-found Jesus about a year or so ago. Man I talked to them about it(backstory they’ve all mostly been atheist their entire lives) and you can tell they didn’t wanna be rude but…let’s just say it’s gotten quiet in my life. However! I now know it’s because God the Creator of the universe is calling me to come back and rid myself of these worldly pursuits and focus on building a relationship with Him. BY FAR one of the hardest things I’ve done in my life so far. Day by day and prayer by prayer I pray that maybe my “testimony” will help others out. God bless you all siblings 🙏❤️✝️❤️
