im gonna guess youve sparred with a southpaw. most fighters dont get that opportunity. so it puts them off balance when they are confronted with that in the ring. its not that southpaw are harder or better fighters. its that most fighters dont get the chance to train that way. you train how you fight. if you havent trained it, it can be a large challenge

As someone whos just trying to get into boxing idk what style to go with but one thing i noticed is when i fight i do a lot of pressure i hit hard every time and im also a lil durable but i need to practice my footwork and stamina

southpaw is basically the opposite of orthodox so the combos come back different...a lot of southpaws are actually right handled especially if he's cuban. so that jab might feel a little heavy
