Was at a Dunkin Doughnut Late one night for my breakfast for the next morning. There was an older Gentleman ( grey hair, glasses, with a veterans hat on.) I over heard his total and saw him reach for his wallet, and then state out loud “ oh-No!” He says I forgot my wallet at such and such and the girl was unfazed I walked over and told the girl here and handed her my bank card to put the total on. She asked if I was sure and I said yes loudly over his protests of I couldn’t possibly ask you, or allow you to do that comments. I said it was my pleasure to help where it was needed and that all I asked was for him to pay it forward, to someone else who might need kindness down the road. He practically begged for my address to give the money back to me, I want too fond of that idea so I told him it was just some thing I felt I had to do, and no repayment was necessary, he told me it was the first time he had ever had such kindness towards him. 🥺🥺🥺
