Glorious little menaces. I rescued one and the first time I went to feed him he growled (or whatever you’d call gecko swearing) and leapt onto my face…and skittered to my ceiling. Took me 3 days to catch him. His name is David Rose, and he’s a gorgeous disaster.

He seems so keen on your attention you must spend a lot of time with him, in my experience day geckos are extremely fractious and easily startled. He trusts you and that’s really sweet
