I have sleep apnea as well. I was forced to switch to wegovy. HATED IT. HORRIBLE migraines, constipation, stomach pains, AND I was tired allllll the time. I too was on Zepbound for over a year and did wonders for me. After 2 months of going back and forth with my insurance, Dr office and prior authorizations, I finally had an appeal sent in this morning and got APPROVED for mounjaro. I had caremark tell me what it is I needed for the appeal in detail to get this approved and it FINALLY got approved. I DONT AGREE that they forced me (and others like yourself) to do wegovy. Wegovy DID NOT work for my body or my health. I hope everyone out there keeps fighting to get the right meds for you because you know your body ❤️

This is what scares me. My insurance quit covering Zepbound too so I’ll be starting Wegovy next week. It’s ridiculous they are making us switch.

What was your last dosage on Zepbound vs what dosage do they start you on Wegovy? You should have started at the lowest dose on Wegovy and work up. Also they have nausea meds you can take. I was on Wegovy and when switched to Zepbound my Dr started me at the lowest dose dose again. He said it would make me sick if I didn’t start at rhe lowest dose even though o was on Wegovy already.

Caremark will pay for Mounjaro. You can get that instead of Zepound. Same formulation different name. Which is why we went through the endocrinologist first for Mounjaro instead of sleep doctor for Zepound. They covered it no issues. We just picked up the next dose up 2 weeks ago.

It’s crazy work what they’re doing lately. My husband currently just started Zepbound with United healthcare due to his sleep apnea. Can we move forward to the same thing happening to him? If so, maybe he should get onto compound

OMG.., I also have sleep apnea had my doctor do a PA with a letter of medical necessity with my sleep..3x they have denied me.. I don’t know what to do 🙏

OMG ME TOO!!!! I can't lean back my skin and spine are on fire. I lost Zepbound. I am begging my doctor to switch me. CvS WILL cover Monhsro but my Doctor won't try. I hope you are ok... I'm so sorry. Have them give you lots of Zofrsn.

wegovy does the same for me. I tried and yeah I couldn't handle the nausea and vomiting. once zepb was approved I was prescribed that and reached my goal weight. good luck to you!

Im in the same boat. Just got my first box of Wegovy now. I’m so tired of these freaking companies thinking they are more knowledgeable. And I know it isn’t even that. It’s all about $. I’m scared to start tomorrow. All my prior authorizations got the same letter.

Why can’t the start the PA now. Wow! Mine was just accepted. wegovy made me so nauseous and tired. This has been such a mess. The insurance companies should not say what we take!

Appeals multiple times. Tried wegovy with terrible side effects and weight gain. More appeals and CVS Caremark basically said stop appealing you get wegovy or you get nothing 😭
