girl, I wear those too. I invested in reusable pads which are a life saver. I have to keep spare clothes on my car just in case plus spare reusable pads in my purse.

Thank you for being so vulnerable ❤
Increasing my core strength and doing pelvic floor exercises has helped a bit. In public I make a show of drinking lots of water so no one thinks it's weird I pop into a bathroom every three hours (I am not aware of needing to go, I just try)

You’re so valid and so appreciated for sharing this!! I’ve actually known SEVERAL black disabled/chronically ill baddies who have incontinence issues as well so they are also having to use diapers. I actually sometimes have to use them myself despite sometimes getting a rash! 😩 know that in my circle, we do NOT shame or make any jokes about incontinence issues or those who have to be diaper dependent! ☺️

sounds like an aid that will make your life better overall. It sucks that people are shamed for it. I think it's cool you're speaking about it and I hope stigma lessens in the future 💚

I used to work at Walmart and you’d be surprised how many people came through buying adult diapers! It’s a much more common issue than people think because people just don’t talk about it, so thank you for talking about it. You’re absolutely right on the jokes about it not being okay.

thank you for talking about this!! one of the kids in my family is autistic and has always had trouble with going to the bathroom on time and their parent will get angry and shame them, which solves nothing. I understand why it wouldn't be talked about, but I wish more people brought awareness to how common this problem actually is!

Incontence is rough it’s expensive and embarrassing. Thankfully no one in my life makes it weird or treats it as a problem.

Thank you for being vulnerable and sharing. My sister wears them as well because she had pelvic floor issues and can’t always control her bladder. It took her awhile to decide she needed them because of the stigma as well. The way we look at it, they’re the same as our glasses. They’re an accessibility tool. ❤️

Are the diapers good now? I know the pads I have now are SO MUCH better than the ones I had at like 13. they're so much thinner and dryer now. I hope the same is true for diapers.
