I grew up in Mexico, a country with high levels of violence, yet there’s no glorified 🔫 culture, only criminals and law enforcement has them. I’ll never understand how the US bases so much of its identity on an object. I will most certainly never be ok with people choosing that object over the life of a child!!! especially when we know that change saves lives. What’s worse is that the loudest defenders of 🔫 are often the same conservatives who can’t stop preaching about being prolife and saving babies.

It will change when legislators start being taken out and I see that coming as rage intensifies. But I was a kid in the 60s when it actually happened. Not condoning it. I just know it's coming.

I agree wholeheartedly but the government is bought by lobbyists. Politicians do not care about their constituents. They worship Trump, which I can’t figure out why and they are bought by lobbyists. They don’t care about people just making the big money. They get huge sums of money to make sure no laws are passed that will take money away from big corporations.

USAFacts report indicates that between the 2000-01 and 2021-22 school years, there were 1,375 school shootings at elementary and secondary schools, resulting in 515 deaths and 1,161 injuries. It's getting worse everyday. Are we great yet?

We just need common sense federal regulation. Nobody wants to come for your guns, but why can’t we have universal background check checks permits to purchase bands on large capacity magazines ERPO’s safe storage laws, community violence, and mental health intervention programs there are things that we can do to change this, and it needs to be done.

morals are shot in today's world. the gun didn't pull it's own trigger. why is our schools not in the upper 10 percent of the world ratings. our curriculum are crap. when you answer why, then you'll know why this is happening. truth sucks, not what we want to hear

no one said school shootings are unsolvable, and banning guns didn't stop murder, it only reduced murder by gun. people still kill with other things. why don't you look up the knife problem in Europe

We could bring up the whole MADD group and the impact that’s had on drunk driving. They had to petition Congress to change those laws. Even when the excuse of “cars don’t (or drinking doesn’t) kill people, people do” could have been used. Of course those laws were passed before Citizens Untied was passed so the constituency actually mattered back then.
