Don’t get me wrong lionesses(female) are very awesome and underrated, however it’s actually false and a myth that male lions don’t hunt, male lions do infact join hunts especially when it comes to larger prey like water buffalos and elephants, just not as much smaller prey because the male lions primary job is to defend the pride from another male invader who wants to take over the pride by unaliving all the cubs, so usually they conserve their energy for those challenges
