Forged carbon is such a stupid ass trend. It’s a markedly worse material then standard CF for 90% of applications, as unless the toe strands are very long, it loses a ton of the tension strength it’s known for. Forged should only be used for pieces where you want a facsimile of real CF strength in a very 3D part (suspension, wings, stuff you couldn’t make out of a flat sheet) or “cheap” parts that get painted over
