Never take the plea deal. It's an admission of guilt. If they have nothing on you or can't prove it they offer the plea deal to get you to plea guilty.

They use these kind of tactics in court all the time to get plea deals. It's horrible how their only goal is to win and have win numbers on their records. The amount of money they have to pay for trial they always threaten the worst of outcomes if you keep your not guilty plea and take it to trial. The whole system needs to be dismantled.
