my mom had to “dodge” calls from the hospital for 2 weeks as I was overdue and it seems so many of the mamas I know felt intense pressure as soon as 40 weeks came to create a plan and pick a date to be induced even though they said from day 1 that was not what they wanted to do. I find birth and birth stories fascinating but one thing I’ve learnt is to let go of all expectations and not hold on to the fear from others stories but know each of my births is unique to me and my babies and to not let any outside opinions take away from the fact that we both know the timing will be perfect for us Is there a fear you’re ready to release?
