This feels like when my sister used to talk to me about the math stuff she was working on, didn’t really get it but she had fun talking about it cx Now she’s the head of the math department at her university.

My girlfriend sent me this, I’m not a knitter but it doesn’t seem to be a guarantee just that because you have an even number of strands between the blobs that both ends would be in the same blob. It’s likely yes, but depending how messed up it is, you could have one end in each blob. I’ve played out the scenario in my head and while it’s more likely to have both ends in the same blob, I can certainly make it to have one end on each side yet having an even number of strands between. I’ll leave it at that. Maybe I’m wrong but I’m too tired to analyze it further

that's cool! My strategy is to focus on making tight things loose and paying attention to where the loosening happens. IDK but it works for me.

This video is how I found out other people DON'T untangle yarn like this 😆 I always assumed mathing your way to the ends of a messy skein like this was intuitive but I might also just be a big nerd
