so fun fact. Humans are Perfectly engineered by Nature for Scratches. We have long digits with opposable thumb, each tipped with a keratin nail that is hard enough to scratch but soft and dull enough not to immediately cause damage. We can empathize with just about anything. We have just weak enough self preservation instincts to be comfortable around large, potentially lethal animals. Case and point. ☝️
