Many people complain that it focuses on Shadow and not Sonic, but personally I find it even better, after all these years of him as the centric character and sorry but pretty much always being the "same" (ofc some evolutions but it's always the same "repetition") Seeing him as a "secondary" character from another POV, here Shadow the complete opposite of Sonic, is refreshing and it adds depth to Sonic's character, we see something else from him, in this case he is the rival who comes out of nowhere and not the other way around. Just the fact that we don't know if he's going to appear in the animation and then we see him suddenly! it add something like : "ohhh Sonic!", a sort of element of surprise that we hadn't had before because we saw him all the time and we know how it was going to pretty much end. I would like to see him in other animations like that in other POVs but I would be surprised if we have others than Shadow because for the moment only Shadow has had his own new "story". I think more character will get one later but not now...
