You have several options. 1. put your dog up if expecting a delivery 2. put in your notes that it's acceptable to drop in the driveway 3. get a box for your packages and put at end of your driveway 4. get your packages delivered to a locker 5. go to the store and get it yourself

If ur dog is outside we can refuse delivery! It says to keep ur dogs or pets in the house as we deliver

I have absolutely never not delivered to a house because of a dog. And I’ve never had a problem with the dog. They make my day magical.

Ma’am, listen, your dog is friendly to you. There’s ALOT, I mean a lot of people who are genuinely AFRAID of dogs. Solution:Put the dog away or have your package delivered to a locker.

It is also personal discretion if the dog has a toy I get out, but if the dog is barking at me, I’ll call the customer

Amazon driver here in TN. The policy is that we text and call you to put all dogs up before we get there. Doesn’t matter if they are friendly. They may be nice to you but not to delivery drivers/strangers. If the dog is not put up, we can mark it “unsafe due to dog” and return the package to the warehouse with no repercussions.

1. Put your dog inside 2. Order for delivery before 8am, maybe your dog is inside? 3. Order to a HUB nearby. Delivery drivers are to not approach or attempt to delivery if there is a dog outside or if there is a sense of danger of a dog.

Also. All of these comments about putting the dog up- I’m confused because not once did she say the dog was outside? It sounds to be that he was inside wagging his tail at the drivers, not outside where issues could potentially happen.

Dogs are supposed to either be inside (if aggressive) or leashed. We love animals but there’s been too many bites from “friendly dogs”. I currently work for Amazon and that’s the policy

if a dog is out we don’t got to deliver. doesn’t matter if you say your dog is friendly. hope this helps .

The metal bat lady I would’ve called the police on. That is so not appropriate under any circumstance. If they were that concerned and afraid, then they should’ve simply left and marked the package as undeliverable.
